After a long long long long long time after I promised, I'm back to blogging :)
That means I'm back to commenting on all of your blogs.
But imagine my shock when I see half of my dashboard are people I don't even recall following :( where's everyone at!!! :(
It's been just over 2 months, and I'm really happy to see that I've only lost two followers :D

Not much has changed in the past two months, but I'm a LOT happier. When I took my hiatus I was in a really bad place. But right now I'm really happy :D (really happy is an exaggeration but I'm happy enough :D)
Right now I just can't wait to get to university ^^ (as in BA, I don't really reckon I'm in uni right now)

One thing that has changed!!
Like I told Jin I would a while ago, I've taken the plunge and dyed my hair red. (actually I did it mid/late November)

I hope you all had a nice Christmas too (it's almost lunar/Chinese new year!! YEAHHH!! Exciting. :))

I'm just chilling now and doing work for foundation. :) I've decided to specialise in Animation ^^ I'd love to show you followers some work I've done, but god I'm so self conscious about the animations I've made so far ._______. however I can show you a zoetrope I've made (not in action, the freaking strobe light is so annoying I wanted to kick it)



Our brief was to create something (eg a pin hole camera) or deconstruct something - I made a zoetrope out of paper and a lazy susan (spinning... table thing?) unfortunately the paper got a bit wet in the rain and I FREAKED, but my pandas still dance. I also made the four clay pandas out of some polymer clay :D
I was really inspired by the Studio Ghibli Museum's zoetrope:



I won't link a video because there's a strobe light and it might give you all a headache, but basically they all move. HAHA :D


Everything is sorted, I've sent off my UCAS applications, I've applied for BA Animation at Portsmouth, Westminster, Kingston, AUCB and Southampton Solent... after a worrying three weeks, everything got dealt with... no interviews or anything yet (THANK GOD)
Today I got an email from Kingston and a postcard (lol?) from Portsmouth :D

Made me super happy! even though I can't log into track yet :(


So I've spent the past couple of days working on a contextual studies essay about photography, and I took out a book about the photographer Brassaï from the university library, and as I was looking at it today (I didn't notice because we have electronic checkouts) I saw that the first time (the first readable stamp anyway) it was checked out was September 1978, and from May 1994-October 1997, no one had checked it out. I find that amazing, and it made me really inspired for some reason :)
